CGPSC Recruitment For 178 Forest Ranger and Assistant Forest Guard Posts - Last Date 15 July 2020

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has Published the recruitment notification for Forest Service Exam to recruit post of Forest Ranger and Assistant Forest Guard 178 Vacancies. The selection for the posts will be conducted through CGPSC Forest Service (Combined) Exam 2020. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online form 16 June 2020 to 15 July 2020.

Name of Posts And Vacancy:
  • Forest Ranger - 157 Posts
  • Assistant Forest Guard - 25 Posts
Pay Scale :
  • Forest Ranger - Rs.38,100.
  • Assistant Forest Guard -  Rs.56,100.

Educational Qualification :

  • Forest Ranger - 12th passed in Biology/Physics/Chemistry and Graduation degree in at least one of the subject of Agriculture, Botany, Computer Applications/Service, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, etc
  • Assistant Forest Guard -  12th passed in Biology/Physics/Chemistry and Graduation degree in at least one of the subject of Agriculture, Botany, Computer Applications/Service, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, etc.

Important Date:

  • Starting Date for Submitting Online Application – 16 June 2020
  • Last Date for Submitting Online Application - 15 July 2020
  • CGPSC Forest Service Prelims Exam – 20 September 2020

Application Fee:

  • For Chhattisgarh candidates: Rs. 300/-
  • For Outsiders candidates: Rs. 400/-

Selection Procedure :

  • The Commission shall hold Competitive Examinations for recruitment to these posts.There will be written and Interview phases.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates age should be 21 to 30 Yrs. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. norms.
